Aloha Construction Wins BBB Torch Award for Ethics

Aloha Construction, a renowned construction company serving Illinois and southern Wisconsin, was recently awarded the 2017 BBB Torch Award from the Better Business Bureau. The Torch is a prestigious award awarded in recognition of a business’ ethics, and only a small group of companies earns the award each year. The BBB panel offered a variety of reasons why Aloha Construction earned the award.

Most important are the numerous charity efforts to which Aloha Construction has contributed time and money. Many of these efforts serve local Illinois community, such as Aloha’s partnership with the Bloomington Boy’s and Girl’s Club or the shopping spree for underprivileged children that they organized along with Omni Youth Services. Aloha has also sponsored local collegiate and youth sports organizations and Children’s Oncology Service’s Camp One Step, which is designed to help children suffering from cancer.

Another reason that Aloha Construction received the Torch Award is thanks to the company’s excellent employee incentives program. These incentives include an annual all-expenses paid trip to Maui, Hawaii for the most distinguished employees, frequent vacation days and paid lunches during construction projects. Aloha also strives to provide long-term employment and upward mobility for all employees, and they offer quality insurance and 401k benefits in addition to these other incentives.

Aloha Construction is headquartered in Lake Zurich, Illinois, and they are dedicated to serving the entire Illinois and southern Wisconsin region. The company offers a wide variety of construction services, and they specialize in roofing, siding and gutter repair. They have also gained a reputation as one of the most reliable companies for storm repairs. Heavy rain, high winds, snow and hail are all common in Aloha’s region, so their experience repairing storm damage is essential. Aloha was founded by Dave Farbaky back in 2008, and they have been family owned and operated since their inception. Aloha Construction has handled over 20,000 roofing jobs alone to date, and they now have a second office in Bloomington.
